Job summary

Circle Health Group invites applications for a Registered Nurse (Adult) to join The Droitwich Spa Hospital wards on a bank basis. You will supplement staffing during busy periods, working on an “as and when required” basis with an hourly rate up to £20, depending on experience and qualifications.

You will deliver direct nursing care, assess needs, maintain documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centred care in a private hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, legible nursing documentation, including assessments and observations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and carers, providing information and support.
• Support patients in understanding their condition and recovery processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe care.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns and potential risks.

Salary: Up to £20.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in the Wards department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and carers, providing information, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Support patients in understanding their condition, treatments, and recovery processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe, and efficient care.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
