Job description

Registered Nurse - Wards | Full time | 37.5 hours per week | Monday – Sunday | Permanent | Band 5/6 equivalent | Oadby, Leicester

Spire Leicester Hospital is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our ward team. You will work alongside an experienced and dynamic team covering a wide range of specialties. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills in a modern, supportive environment.

You will work on a rota, primarily Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 19:30, with two weekends per month.

Spire Leicester Hospital provides comprehensive private healthcare in a comfortable environment. Our facility features four operating theatres, including three laminar flow theatres for orthopaedic surgery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assess patients’ health and well-being across a complex caseload.
2. Assist in delivering care tailored to individual needs.
3. Communicate complex, sensitive, or contentious information effectively.
4. Develop your own knowledge and skills, as well as those of colleagues.
5. Promote best practices in health, safety, and security.
6. Support the maintenance and development of services.

Who We're Looking For:

1. Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
2. Experience working in teams with minimal supervision.
3. Competent across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
4. UK-based and experienced.
