Job summary

Elite Hire is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care and lead a small team of healthcare assistants on shift. You will assess, plan, deliver and review care for a group of patients and supervise staff.

Responsibilities include giving medicines, monitoring effects, wound care, observations, catheter care and maintaining accurate records. DBS check will be arranged; shifts include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration as an Adult Nurse (RN1/RNA) is required.
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgement.
• Commitment to patient safety and dignity.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Enhanced DBS check (we can arrange this).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, deliver and review care for a group of patients.
• Give medicines safely and monitor their effects.
• Carry out clinical tasks such as wound care, observations and catheter care.
• Supervise and support healthcare assistants and students.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date clinical records.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and the wider care team.
