The Registered Nurse:
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and may vary, with shifts at short notice. Casual employees can apply for internal postings including permanent and temporary positions. Many opportunities with Interior Health start with casual employment and can lead to regular employment.
Shifts will include days, evenings, and nights; rotating from 06:45 to 15:00, 14:45 to 23:00, 22:45 to 07:00 hours.
Start date is estimated for the end of March 2025; orientation, education, and site training will begin prior to the facility opening in Spring 2025.

Introducing Nelson Fairview Gardens, a new facility operated by Interior Health as part of the Nelson Community Health Campus. It accommodates 75 adults in need of long-term care, featuring five neighborhoods across three floors, with outdoor spaces and mountain/lake views.
Nelson, with over 10,000 residents, is a charming city in the Kootenay Boundary region, midway between Vancouver and Calgary, with nearby airports in Castlegar and Trail. Known for its blend of charm and sophistication, it offers recreational activities on Kootenay Lake and modern urban amenities.
