About The Job

The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides:

  • Nursing care to psychiatric patients, both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Enhances quality of life for patients and families; collaborates with other healthcare providers
  • Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing
  • Maintains and advances own clinical competence
  • Participates in hospital committees, teams, and research projects as assigned

RPNs/RNs in tertiary care work with psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and community mental health teams.

We seek a self-directed, motivated, reliable, and flexible mental health-trained nurse (RN/RPN) who enjoys teamwork and has a strong desire to learn. Experience in Mental Health or Substance Use is preferred.

This is a casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours and may work from 0-37.5 hours per week as needed.

Shifts are scheduled days, rotating from 07:00 to 15:00 hours.
