Job summary

Msi Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Agency Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents and service users within nursing and care settings.

You will provide safe mental health nursing care, assess and document wellbeing, administer medications, and work with the care team to support safeguarding and infection prevention. Flexible shifts are available, including day and night bookings.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration is required.
• Minimum 6 months' recent UK nursing home or mental health care experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and compassionate mental health nursing care.
• Assess, monitor and document residents' physical and mental wellbeing.
• Administer medications safely in line with procedures.
• Support individuals with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow care plans and risk assessments.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Active NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
• Minimum 6 months' recent UK nursing home or mental health care experience
• Right to Work in the UK
• No restrictions on working hours
• Valid Practical Life Support training
• Valid Practical Manual Handling training
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
• Commitment to providing safe, compassionate and person-centred care

THE ROLE

As an Agency Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents and service users within nursing and care settings.

• Providing safe and compassionate mental health nursing care
• Assessing, monitoring and documenting residents' physical and mental wellbeing
• Administering medication safely and in accordance with procedures
• Supporting individuals with their mental health and emotional wellbeing
• Identifying and responding appropriately to changes in behaviour or presentation
• Following individual care plans and risk assessments
• Promoting dignity, independence and choice
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
• Supporting safeguarding and infection prevention procedures
• Working effectively with Healthcare Assistants, nurses, GPs and the wider care team
• Escalating concerns and changes in residents' wellbeing appropriately
