Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking Registered Nurses for multiple senior living communities in Winter Park, Florida. The organization provides a not-for-profit, mission-driven environment with a long-standing commitment to quality elder care and a large team and resident base.

Shifts include full-time, part-time, and PRN with competitive hourly pay and shift differentials. The role emphasizes medication administration, physician-ordered care, and coordination of resident services

Qualifications

• Current Florida Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• One year of long-term care desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning resident care by following physician orders.
• Implement resident care based on physician orders.
• Evaluate care and communicate with doctors for updates of orders.
• Administer medications, IVs, give shots, update patient records, provide emotional support, patient education, basic diagnostics and other patient procedures for residents.
• Receive and transcribe orders from attending physicians.
• Monitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure when necessary.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Schedule doctor’s appointments and coordinate transportation for residents, including labs and transcriptions.

Shifts Available: We have full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts available providing flexibility to accommodate your schedule.

Compensation and Benefits : For this position, the expected hourly rate is $34.95 - $ 41.11 per hour, depending on qualifications. Plus, many shifts offer a shift differential. Benefit information for full and part time team members can be viewed HERE.

In this role, you will:
