About The Role

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) position at our nursing home. The purpose of this role is to work within the nursing team and lead a group of care staff to ensure a high standard of care to service users.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate individual care plans for residents.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for residents ensuring that their physical, emotional and social needs are met. Promote our residents independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.
  • Lead, motivate and mentor your team by delivering clear guidance and training to ensure safe, smooth and efficient running of the home.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all residents, families, visitors and colleagues.

All posts offered are subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS or PVG disclosure.

About You

You will be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current valid NMC pin. The ideal person will have knowledge of National Standards and NMC Code of Practice with experience in person-centred care planning within a care home. You will ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used. As a Registered Nurse, you will act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.

We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team and can effectively supervise, lead, and develop the care team. The role will suit someone who is caring, friendly, empathetic and has a good understanding of the needs of our residents. It is essential you have strong attention to detail and good communication and time management skills.
