An established industry player in care services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their compassionate team in Sandbach. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care and support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met in a safe and nurturing environment. You will lead a team of support staff, manage shifts, and maintain accurate health records, all while promoting independence and well-being among residents. Shifts are either a 12-hour shift from 07:30 to 20:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, or a 6-hour shift either from 07:30 to 13:30 or from 13:30 to 19:30.
Contracted hours could be increased up to 30 hours per week for the right candidate.
A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am, Monday to Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support to our customers as outlined in Person Centred Plans. You will order and administer medication, ensure safe storage, and record all information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
You will effectively lead a support staff team, ensuring smooth and efficient management of shifts. You will prioritize and plan, delegate relevant activities, and ensure the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
You will support ongoing assessments, observe any changes in health and well-being, and maintain timely records. You will also support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
