Registered Nurse - RGH Ward 18 (POW ward 11) General Surgery

Join us as a Registered Nurse - RGH Ward 18 (POW ward 11) General Surgery at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

The role involves working as a Staff Nurse in wards/departments including Acute Medical/Surgical Wards and Community Hospitals. Responsibilities include providing direct and indirect patient care following established protocols.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, NMC Standards, and Codes of Conduct. We seek dynamic, forward-thinking, and committed nurses with excellent communication skills and a passion for high-quality, person-centered care. Ward 11 POW (currently Ward 18 RGH) specializes in Female surgery (Gynae), Colorectal, Upper GI, Lower GI, Urology, and ENT, handling both emergency and elective admissions.

The Surgical Unit is a vibrant, multi-faceted environment with high patient flow, ideal for professional development and lifelong learning. In-house training, including Surgical Study Days, is provided. All appointments are rotational across areas.
