Job summary

Milestones Trust in Bristol is seeking a Registered Nurse for Stibbs House, a respite service for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with a requirement to review care plans and risk assessments.

You will rotate days, nights and weekends, supervise staff, mentor students and engage in health promotion projects with external partners, delivering person-centred care in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with strong clinical and organisational skills.
• Experience with learning disabilities in a CQC-regulated setting.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
• Experience in clinical governance and driving person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical care plans and risk assessments.
• Cascade information to wider teams.
• Act as named nurse for a group of people supported.
• Lead health promotion and maintenance initiatives with partner organisations.
