Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust’s Basildon Hospital is seeking a paediatric nurse to join Puffin Ward. You will care for acutely ill children admitted with trauma, medical, surgical, haematology and oncology needs, in an inpatient setting.

The role is open to newly qualified and experienced nurses, with support from senior sisters and a practice development team. An RSCN or RN (child) qualification and an NMC pin are required to apply.

Qualifications

• NMC registration and pin are required.
• Experience caring for children in an acute paediatric care setting is preferred.
• PILS qualification and awareness of child protection issues are advantageous.
