Job summary

Spire Clare Park Hospital is recruiting for a committed Staff nurse to join us on a full-time basis, based in the Pre-Assessment unit. You will be based in our Pre-Assessment unit, working alongside an experienced and dynamic team covering a wide variety of specialisms.

As a Pre-Assessment Nurse, you'll help ensure patients are clinically prepared and fully informed ahead of their procedure. You’ll conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, triage patients, identify and escalate concerns,

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration with no restrictions on practice.
• Previous experience within a Pre-Assessment setting.
• Acute healthcare experience.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good IT and electronic patient record skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive pre-operative assessments.
• Triaging and assessing patients to ensure suitability for surgery.

The Role

About You
