Registered Nurse - Outpatients (Bank) - Circle Health Group

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, providing flexible staffing support in the Outpatients department at The Beardwood Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritize care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in condition, and escalate appropriately using clinical judgment.
• Administer medications safely and effectively in accordance with hospital policies and the NMC Code.
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations.
• Ensure all care provided complies with NMC standards, clinical governance, and hospital policies.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks following hospital procedures.

Candidate Criteria

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience working in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in IT systems for patient records and care planning.
• Previous experience in relevant specialties (desirable): surgical, medical, outpatient, orthopedics, critical care.

Salary & Benefits
