You should be a great role model, calm under pressure, an advocate for best practice, and possess a range of clinical skills. Knowledge of assessment, admission, discharge processes, and the Mental Capacity Act is essential. You must hold a valid NMC PIN and be registered as a nurse (Adult, Mental Health, or Learning Disability).
