Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in the UK is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join Purley Gardens Care Home in Purley, Surrey. You will act as person in charge when required and ensure high standards of care for our residents.

Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration, with at least two years' experience. You will lead a care team, support families and GPs, and participate in ongoing learning within a compassionate, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience and up-to-date knowledge of care.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager when required.
• Observe instructions to act on behalf of the Manager and ensure high standards of care to residents.
• Distribute medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advise families of residents and GPs of changes in condition and involve them in ongoing care.
• Deploy and supervise staff within the care team to ensure tasks are completed and residents receive required care.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
