Gold Care Homes’ The New Deanery in Braintree is seeking a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin to join our compassionate team. You will provide high-quality resident care, ensure safety, and support day-to-day clinical needs in a warm, homely setting.

You will lead the care team, manage medicines, document care plans, and participate in audits and staff appraisals. We offer £24.50 per hour, development opportunities, and recognition for long service.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
• Experience in wound care and medication administration is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Achieve a high standard of care.
• Lead the care team to deliver outcomes for residents.
• Maintain effective verbal and written communications and report day-to-day changes.
• Wound management.
• Ensure care procedures follow policy.
• Order, administer and record medicines as required.
• Provide personal care including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Offer physical, emotional and spiritual comfort.
• Supervise and appraise staff.
• Adapt routines and procedures as agreed with the Manager.
• Assess prospective residents.
• Complete duty rosta as needed.
• Participate in internal quality audits.
• Support training and development of staff.
• Assist Manager with budgets (Deputy Manager duties).
