Job summary

Care Concern Group’s Floryn House Care Home in the United Kingdom is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN) to deliver high‑quality, clinically led care across shifts. You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor health, while leading the care team and safeguarding dignity and wellbeing.

This role offers 24–48 hours per week with a pay rate of £26.15 per hour, paid DBS and pension, a uniform, and 5.6 weeks’ annual leave.

• Strong clinical judgement and ability to lead shifts.

Responsibilities

Job description

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice. You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times. Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.

• Registered Nurse RGN or with an active NMC PIN
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment.
