An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 staff nurse to join the General Outpatients team at Stobhill ACH, North Glasgow. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care, including assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based care programs. You will consider lifestyle, gender, and cultural backgrounds, involving patients, families, and carers in the care process. The role includes participating in nurse-led clinics across various specialties, using initiative, and working independently within your knowledge and skills. The position involves rotating through multiple specialties and supporting clinical audits and research.

You will contribute to creating a supportive learning environment, complete appraisals for preregistration nurses, and support research activities. Essential skills include effective communication with patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team, as well as sound judgment in assessing patient conditions and planning care accordingly.
