The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday.

We are seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the General Outpatients team at Stobhill ACH, North Glasgow. The successful candidate will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure high standards of patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based care programs, considering lifestyle, gender, and cultural backgrounds, and involving patients, families, and carers.

You will participate in nurse-led clinics across various specialties, use your initiative, and work independently within your scope of knowledge and skills. The role involves rotating through multiple specialties and supporting nurse-led clinics.

You are expected to contribute to creating a positive learning environment aligned with NES quality placement standards, complete appraisals of pre-registration nurses, and support research and clinical audits. Essential skills include effective communication with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team, along with sound judgment in patient assessment and care planning.
