Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Registered Nurse for General Medicine in Carlisle. The post is a full-time, permanent role based on Larch C ward, Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle.

The ward provides care for acutely unwell and long-term conditions with focus on patient safety and compassionate care. The role involves teamwork, patient assessment, care planning, and coordination across disciplines.

Larch C is a 28 bedded general medical ward. Patient safety is embedded in everything we do. Our aim is to provide an excellent patient experience from admission to discharge ensuring all physical and mental health needs are met.

Main duties of the job

Larch C is a general medical ward which cares for patients with a wide range of needs, from acutely unwell patients to managing long term conditions, complex discharge planning to end of life care.
