Isle of Wight NHS Trust in Newport, Isle of Wight, is recruiting a Registered Nurse for Endoscopy (Band 5) to join the team on a 37.5 hour per week, permanent basis.

The role involves working in Endoscopy theatres, admission/recovery/pre-assessment areas and decontamination rooms, with emphasis on patient-centred care and multi-disciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Willingness to undertake further Professional Study Days.
• Awareness of NHS plan targets relating to patients who attend the unit.
• Knowledge of Trust policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

The department strives to promote effective working relationships within the multi-disciplinary team. As a valued team member, you will be expected to work in line with the Organisation’s General Compliance mandate.

The post holder will work with the wider Endoscopy team to support care and interventions. This will include working in the Endoscopy theatres, admission/recovery/pre assessment areas and the decontamination rooms.
