Job summary

Isle of Wight NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Registered Nurse for Endoscopy in Newport on a full-time, permanent basis. The post involves working within Endoscopy theatres, admission/recovery/pre-assessment areas and decontamination rooms, delivering compassionate, patient-centred care with a strong multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have current NMC registration, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in Endoscopy setting preferred.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse for Endoscopy who wish to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us!

The department strives to promote effective working relationships within the multi-disciplinary team. As a valued team member, you will be expected to work in line with the Organisation’s General Compliance mandate.

The post holder will work with the wider Endoscopy team to support care and interventions. This will include working in the Endoscopy theatres, admission/recovery/pre assessment areas and the decontamination rooms.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individual with strong organisational and communication skills, and a clear commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care.
