Job summary

Guild Care at Linfield House in Worthing is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide person-centred dementia care. You will deliver clinical leadership, oversee care delivery, and build strong relationships with residents, families and the healthcare team.

You will be NMC-registered and able to lead a multidisciplinary team. The role requires 31 hours per week on a permanent contract at Linfield House, Worthing, West Sussex.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• The confidence to lead and support a multidisciplinary team.
• A compassionate and person-centred approach to care.
• Experience in dementia care or older people’s services would be advantageous, although not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care.
• Administer and manage medications in line with NMC standards.
• Monitor residents' health and respond to changing needs.
• Lead, supervise and support care staff during shifts.
• Maintain accurate care records and clinical documentation.
• Liaise with families, GPs and external healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Promote independence, choice and dignity for every resident.
• Support the smooth operation of the home and contribute to a positive culture.
