We are seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join the nursing team within our Coronary Care Unit. The successful candidate will help drive ongoing improvement and provide high-quality care to each patient within the Interventional Cardiology service, supporting the leadership of the Senior Charge Nurse and Charge Nurses.

The successful candidates will have proven skills to lead the nursing team in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse/Charge Nurses, assisting in the day-to-day delivery of high-quality patient care within this demanding service. The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential, as well as demonstrable experience in providing high-quality care to patients amidst fluctuating service pressures, while role modeling professional abilities to junior team members. The post holders must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills across internal and external departmental and multidisciplinary boundaries, displaying a positive, inclusive approach and understanding of the overall service pressures faced by each team.

You should be able to demonstrate your commitment to ongoing personal and professional development and the ability to act as a role model within the team, adapting to variable service demands, change, and improvements.

This post involves variable shift patterns 24/7 and may require occasional work in other areas of Interventional Cardiology and other clinical areas within GJNH.
