Occasional hours available. This is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave. The hours and days you work will vary.

Shifts can range from: 07:00-19:30 (12 hours), 07:00-13:30 (6 hours), 13:00-19:30 (6 hours), or 19:00-07:30 (12 hours).

A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am, Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Newlands House is home for 35 people with physical disabilities. The home has a "Good" CQC rating.

We are based on Main Street, Netherseal, Swadlincote DE12 8DA. Please check the location before applying.

Due to limited public transport to Newlands House, you will need access to transport or reside in the Netherseal area.

As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you’ll be responsible for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support, while promoting independence and choice to our customers. Leading a support team, you will ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift, prioritising, planning, and delegating activities.

You will:

• Be a registered nurse (current registration with NMC).
• Have thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
• Work flexibly within rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
