Job summary

Skycare seeks Registered Nurses for a New Milton care home in Hampshire. The role involves 24/7 residential and nursing care, including dementia and end-of-life support. Night shifts 8pm-8am, 12-hour shifts, full-time, paid breaks, and on-site parking.

You will assess patients, maintain records, follow the NMC Code, and supervise support workers in a busy environment. NMC pin and prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK NMC Pin.
• Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Own transport to work is desirable.

We're looking for Registered Nurses for our Care Home based in New Milton, Hampshire The Care home offers 24/7 residential care, elderly care, end of life care, respite care and general nursing care, as well as dementia care.

• Night shifts available 8pm-8am, 12-hour shifts
• Pay rate £21.7- £22.7 per hour depending on the experience

Information about the Role:

Working as an RGN Nurse (Registered General Nurse)

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long term service users.
• Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
• Be competent and confident in managing people with long term health conditions.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs.
• Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users (as appropriate).
• Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex,
• urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
• Recognise and work within own competence level
• Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
• Support, manage and guide support workers on a daily basis.
