Job summary

The Benefits is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centred care in a hospice setting in the United Kingdom. You will deliver and evaluate high-quality nursing care, guided by evidence-based practice, and work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care from admission through discharge.

You will support patients and families through complex symptom management and end-of-life care planning, offering professional advice and hospice service support

Responsibilities

• Delivering and evaluating high-quality nursing care using evidence-based practice
• Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care from admission through to discharge
• Supporting patients and families through complex symptom management and end of life care planning
• Providing professional advice and support through hospice services when required
• Taking charge of the clinical environment when appropriate and supporting colleagues across the nursing team
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring care is delivered in line with professional standards and hospice policies
• Contributing to clinical audit, quality improvement, education and service development activities
