Job summary

Exemplar Health Care’s Primrose Place in Coalville opens as a brand-new home and is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager / Deputy Manager. You will help shape the service from day one and build a strong nursing team to deliver high-quality care.

You’ll work closely with the Home Manager to drive clinical governance, maintain standards, and support staff development as the service grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years post-registration experience with management or leadership responsibilities.
• Experience at Clinical Nurse Manager/Deputy Manager level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of nurses and care colleagues to meet medical, physical, emotional, and safeguarding needs.
• Provide strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive improvement.
• Oversee clinical elements, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise care plans and risk assessments with timely reviews.

Rate: £55,000 per annum

Primrose Place

When open, Primrose Place will provide nursing care for adults living with complex needs arising from brain injuries, dementia, mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Primrose Place will feature 36 en-suite bedrooms, across three units. Each unit will have its own dining room, lounge, and sensory bathroom.

With this small group living, we’re able to provide a homely and supportive environment, that’s more responsive to individual needs.

About The Role

As a Clinical Nurse Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll play a key role in the daily running of our home.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• leading a team of care and nursing colleagues to ensure that people’s medical, physical, emotional and safeguarding needs are met
• providing strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement
• overseeing and managing all clinical elements and risks
• ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, regulatory requirements and CQC standards
• supervising your Nursing Team to ensure that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect interventions appropriately.

As This Is a Managerial Role, You Must Have

• a minimum of three years post-registration experience, management experience, training or qualification.
• ideally you will have experience of working at a Clinical Nurse Manager or Deputy Manager level.
• a first-level nursing registration as an adult / general Nurse (RGN), with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN
