Orchard Care Homes Ltd. is seeking a Registered Nurse at Green Park Nursing Home, Warrington, to deliver dementia-focused, person-centred care within a supportive team. You will lead care delivery, promote independence and liaise with families and professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in dementia care and person-centred planning.
• Strong understanding of governance and clinical standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
• Lead the care team in delivering compassionate support.
• Promote independence, choice and engagement.
• Liaise with families, external professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Reduce reliance on psychotropic meds through non-pharmacological approaches.
• Support best interest decisions under the Mental Capacity Act.
• Conduct supervisions, appraisals and coaching of staff.
• Ensure compliance with NMC standards and Orchard policies.

Salary: £25.77 per hour

Schedule/Hours: Full & Part-time available – Nights

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing person-centred care plans and risk assessments
• Leading the care team in delivering meaningful, empathetic support
• Promoting independence, choice, and positive engagement
• Liaising with families, external professionals, and multidisciplinary teams
• Reducing reliance on psychotropic medication through non-pharmacological interventions
• Supporting best interest decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act
• Conducting supervisions, appraisals, and coaching care staff
• Ensuring compliance with NMC standards and Orchard policies
