Nursing - Longbridge Deverill House & Nursing Home
Contract: Full Time
Shift Type: Days & Nights Available
Contracted hours: 24 to 48

Be the nurse who brings calm, comfort and clinical excellence.
Join us at Longbridge Deverill House & Nursing Home in Warminster.

There’s something special about being a nurse in a care home. You get to know each resident their stories, their families, their favourite songs—and you’re trusted to care for them as individuals. It’s not just about clinical charts and medication rounds; it’s about moments of connection, reassurance, and dignity.

What you’ll receive:

  • £20.80 per hour, with paid breaks
  • A permanent contract with full-time or part-time hours available
  • Uniform and DBS provided
  • Free parking and workplace pension
  • 5.6 weeks’ holiday (based on a full-time contract)
  • A supportive team who believe in great care, delivered with kindness

At Longbridge Deverill, a purpose-built care home in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, we’re proud to provide outstanding residential, dementia, nursing, and respite care to up to 60 people. Now, we’re looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse—either RGN or RMN—to join our team on either day or night shifts (07:30–20:00 or 19:30–08:00).

*If you have a valid NMC PIN and a heart for care, we’d love to welcome you in.

You’ll be part of a tight-knit clinical team, working in partnership with our carers, residents, and families. Every shift starts with clear guidance and a supportive handover. From there, you’ll lead the delivery of tailored care plans, ensure medications are safely administered, respond swiftly to changes in health, and help create a warm, respectful atmosphere throughout the home.

What you’ll bring:

  • A valid NMC PIN as a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN).
  • A kind, calm and patient approach – with a genuine passion for elderly care.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills – with a focus on teamwork, empathy, and clinical excellence.
  • Care home experience is welcome, but not essential – we value people with the right values and attitude.

We’re not just looking for someone to fill a rota we’re looking for someone who’ll take pride in their role, who sees the whole person behind the patient, and who leads by example.
