Job summary

Parkfield House Nursing Home, part of Care Concern Group, is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to lead shifts and deliver person-centred, clinically-led care in West London. The role includes assessing needs, planning care, administering meds and monitoring health, while ensuring documentation is thorough and standards remain high.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with either RGN or RMN status and an active NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a care team.
• Good communication and leadership skills to coordinate residents, families and professionals.

Job description

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice. You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times. Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

• Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment

Parkfield House Nursing Home is an elegant, listed home in the quiet residential area of Hillingdon, West London. With 39 uniquely charming bedrooms spread over three floors, the home combines comfort and character in a thoughtfully refurbished setting that offers high-quality nursing care.

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £25.23 per hour
• Contracted to 36 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
