Job summary

Meadow Bank Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN. You will lead shifts, use clinical judgement, assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor health changes, ensuring safe, person-centred care across your shift.

You will support the care team, document accurately, and maintain high standards within a professional environment that values dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Active NMC PIN and current nursing registration.
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Job description

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice. You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times. Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

• Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
• Good communication and leadership skills
