Job description

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Biggleswade, Bedfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers.

About the Care Home

This care home is designed for older people with dementia. It provides a specialist nursing service for individuals with a diagnosis of mid-late stage dementia.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Duties

1. Providing leadership and support for support staff and acting as a champion for residents' safety and dignity.
2. Maintaining skills and knowledge, ensuring care is delivered according to latest guidelines and evidence-based practice.
3. Ensuring ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff, and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring, and review processes.
4. Maintaining accurate records and effective communication systems related to clinical and care delivery.
5. Acting as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.
6. Taking charge of the unit regularly and accepting responsibility for its smooth operation in the absence of the management team.
7. Helping to maintain the security of the building and its environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in older people's care is desirable but not essential.
• Compassionate with an excellent clinical track record.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Quality-driven with a desire to continually improve oneself and services.

Salary and Benefits

The successful nurse will receive an excellent salary of £20.00 per hour, with an annual salary up to £45,760. We have vacancies for both day and night shifts. Benefits include:
