Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join Pemberley House Care Home in Hampshire. You will act as person in charge, support the Manager, and ensure high standards of resident care, including medication administration and chronic condition management.

We value compassionate, patient-centred care and strong teamwork. Applicants must hold a First Level qualification, current NMC registration, and have at least two years' post-qualification experience.

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate a minimum 2years experience and up to date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
• Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.

Responsabilidades

• Act as person in charge in the absence of the Manager and observe instructions to act upon on their behalf while ensuring high standards of care to residents.
• Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families and GPs of any changes in condition, keeping them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care.
• Responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team to ensure duties are completed and residents receive required care.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as aRegistered Nursewill beto act as person in charge,standingin for the Manager asrequiredandobserveall instructions to act upon his/her behalfwhilst youensurehigh standardsof care toourresidents. Other responsibilitieswillinclude: Undertakingnursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions. Advisingfamilies of residents andGPsof any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern and keeps them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care. Responsibilityfor the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care. Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
