Job summary

Doonbank Care Home in Patna is seeking Registered Nurses (RGN or RMN) to join our clinical team. You will deliver high-quality, person-centered care, administer medications, and lead shifts with support from a skilled care team.

We offer £20.55 per hour, contracts between 24 and 42 hours per week, PVG and NMC payments, pension, uniform, and 5.6 weeks of annual leave, plus ongoing training and clear progression into senior roles.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with RGN or RMN status and active NMC PIN.
• At least 6 months post-registration.
• Experience in care home setting is beneficial, but applicants from other backgrounds are welcome.

Located in the heart of Patna, Doonbank Care Home provides personalised nursing and residential care for up to 36 residents, promoting small group living in a warm, family-like setting. Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £20.55 per hour
• Contracted to between 24 - 42 hours per week - days & nights rotation
• Paid PVG, Paid NMC, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For

• Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
• At least 6 months post registration required
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment
