Evolve Staffing Ltd in Bristol is seeking a compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a multidisciplinary team in a leading mental health facility. The role supports service users through assessment, care planning, and recovery-focused approaches.

As an NMC-registered nurse, you will work with psychiatrists, occupational therapists and social workers to provide safe, dignified care. Relocation support may be available for the Bristol area.

Formación

• NMC PIN and current registration as RMN.
• Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act (1983) and the Mental Capacity Act.
• Excellent verbal and written English with meticulous clinical records.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure environments.
• Commitment to dignity, respect, and empowering individuals.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop bespoke recovery-focused care plans.
• Safely administer and monitor medication in line with NMC guidelines.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, occupational therapists and social workers to provide holistic care.
• Identify and manage clinical risks to ensure patient, staff and visitor safety.
• Provide crisis support using de-escalation techniques and advocate for families and carers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Assessment & Care Planning: Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing bespoke recovery-focused care plans.
• Medication Management: Safely administering and monitoring medication in strict accordance with NMC guidelines and local policies.
• MDT Collaboration: Working closely with psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to patient wellbeing.
• Risk Management: Identifying and managing clinical risks, ensuring the safety of service users, staff, and visitors at all times.
• Crisis Intervention: Utilizing de-escalation techniques and providing immediate support during acute episodes.
• Advocacy: Acting as a point of contact for families and carers, providing updates and emotional support throughout the treatment journey.

Requirements:

• Valid NMC PIN: Current registration as a Mental Health Nurse (Part 1 of the register).
• Clinical Competence: A strong understanding of the Mental Health Act (1983) and the Mental Capacity Act.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English, with the ability to maintain meticulous clinical records.
• Resilience: The ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or challenging environments.
