The role focuses on delivering recovery-focused care for service users within a supportive environment. You will operate within the MHT framework, conducting assessments, managing medications, and collaborating with clinicians to ensure optimal patient wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as Mental Health Nurse (Part 1).
• Strong understanding of Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act.
• Excellent verbal and written English with meticulous record-keeping.

Responsabilités

• Clinical assessment and care planning to develop recovery-focused plans.
• Medication management per NMC guidelines and local policies.
• MDT collaboration with psychiatrists, OTs, and social workers for holistic care.
• Identify and manage clinical risks to ensure safety of service users and staff.
• Use de-escalation techniques and provide support during acute episodes.
• Act as a point of contact for families and carers, providing updates and support.
