An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse in an Eating Disorder Unit at an exceptional hospital based in the Marchwood, Southampton area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.
This hospital has established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care and specializes in the management and treatment of mental health issues, including eating disorders.
**To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.**
**Key Duties Include:**
1. Deliver prescribed care to a defined group of patients reflecting their individual needs.
2. Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care in collaboration with patients and their families, acting as the patient's named nurse. This involves regular evaluation and review of care plans.
3. Communicate effectively with Service Users to assess needs and evaluate progress.
4. Participate in quality improvement processes and clinical governance.
5. Provide accessible information about care to residents and their families.
6. Act as the Nurse in charge of the Ward, ensuring a safe environment.
7. Complete notes and incident reports.
8. Escalate concerns regarding resident well-being, incidents, or staffing issues promptly.
**Preferred Skills and Experience:**
- Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices.
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality improvement.
- Ability to develop innovative approaches to practice.
- Excellent communication skills, IT literacy.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of GBP34,900 - GBP37,227 per annum, DOE. Available shifts include days and nights. Benefits include:
