Job summary

Priory Hospital Chelmsford is recruiting a Mental Health Nurse to join the Nursing team at Priory Hospital Chelmsford in Essex. The role is full‑time (37.5 hours) with a salary of £36,176–£38,596 per annum.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, evidence‑based care and to support clients' wellbeing, underpinned by CPD and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Minimum 12 months post-registration experience in mental health care.
• Good understanding of NMC guidelines and professional standards.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred nursing care as part of an MDT.
• Promote client safety and wellbeing while delivering prescribed nursing care.
• Maintain professional accountability and adapt to changing environments.
• Contribute to care planning and documentation in line with standards.

Mental Health Nurse - Priory Hospital Chelmsford

Priory Hospital Chelmsford is looking to recruit a Mental Health Nurse to join the team.

Priory Hospital Chelmsford, Chelmsford, Essex is a specialist mental health and addiction treatment centre providing inpatient and outpatient services for adults and young people, including autism and ADHD assessments. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes nearby and Chelmsford railway station approximately 2-3 miles from the hospital. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

£36,176 - £38,596 per annum

Full Time - 37.5 Hours
