The post holder will be responsible for identifying and contributing to the training needs of junior registered and unregistered staff, ensuring that issues of equality, diversity, and rights are dealt with in accordance with good practice and legislation. They will ensure effective communication pathways exist and act within their sphere of responsibility, managing the shift in the absence of the Ward Manager or designated deputy.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for identified service users, acting as a nurse for individuals with complex and challenging needs.
As a key member of the team, you will deliver high-quality, individualised, holistic, and evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process. You will also play a vital role as a link between patients, carers, relatives, and therapists, ensuring a consistent focus on positive patient outcomes.
