Job description

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse - Eating Disorder Unit to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Bromley, Kent area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers.


One of the leading private hospitals treating addictions and general psychiatric conditions, as well as having an accredited eating disorder service.


To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.


Key Duties:
  1. Deliver high quality, safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery (NMC) Code.
  2. Lead the delivery of a comprehensive Patient/Service user nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred care in a collaborative way, addressing both their mental and physical healthcare needs.
  3. Maintain the patients/service users rights.
  4. Supervise junior staff and students.
  5. Work collaboratively with the MDT and maintain a safe and therapeutic working environment and accurate records.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Minimum of 6 months post qualifying experience.
  2. Experience in eating disorders.
  3. Relevant clinical experience.
  4. Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality.
  5. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to ensure good practice.
  6. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of GBP33,176 - GBP35,596 per annum DOE. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
