This Birmingham Based Trust provides care and treatment for people who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis of such severity that it cannot be managed safely at home with the involvement and interventions of staff in the community. Some service users will have chosen to be admitted to an inpatient ward, whereas others will be detained under the Mental Health Act.

Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

Shift Patterns: Long days, Nights, Twilight and Split shifts
As a Mental Health Nurse, you’re not only supporting service users and patients in their most challenging times, but also mentoring them to become the best version of themselves build on service users strengths, maintaining levels of independence and promoting wellbeing.
Having an open mind and a flexible approach to care is key within this sector. This will enable you to establish the best possible ways to care for your service user or patient. You will develop exceptionally positive and robust relationships with patients and their families, building trust and confidence.
