An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional nursing home based in Abertillery, Wales. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

Requirements:

• Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current NMC Pin
• Must have mental health experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure high standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to improve their quality of life.
2. Promote independence and personal choice; develop, review, and update care plans to meet residents' physical, social, and psychological needs.
3. Oversee all aspects of medication management during your shift, ensuring medicines are received, stored, and administered appropriately, in line with policies and legislation.
4. Build and maintain professional relationships with visitors and external stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines; proactively identify, investigate, and resolve risks.
6. Support, guide, teach, and mentor colleagues in accordance with the NMC Code.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Leadership skills, problem analysis, and solution proposal abilities.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with IT and communication systems relevant to the role.
