Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Dual Registered Manager to lead two specialist children’s homes in Oxfordshire. You will oversee safeguarding, care standards, staff development, and regulatory compliance, ensuring therapeutic and compassionate care.

The role requires approximately two years of management experience in children’s residential settings, a Level 5 Diploma, and a full UK driving licence, with opportunity to expand services and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Approx 2 years’ management experience within a children’s residential setting.
• Substantial experience supporting children with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and complex needs.
• Background in managing an Ofsted-regulated children’s home.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
• Thorough understanding of safeguarding, children’s residential care regulations and therapeutic behaviour support.
• Experience in staff supervision, performance management and service improvement.
• Ability to lead and support teams through challenging situations whilst maintaining safe and compassionate care.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Building effective relationships with families and relevant health, education and social care professionals.
• Managing staff recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance.

• Overseeing staffing, budgets, service quality, audits and participation in the senior on-call rota.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance, safeguarding standards and Ofsted requirements are met.
• Perform other duties as required.

An opportunity has arisen for a Dual Registered Manager to join a children's residential care provider, offering safe, nurturing and supportive homes for young people

As a Dual Registered Manager, you will lead 2 specialist children’s homes, overseeing care standards, safeguarding, staff development and operational performance.

This full-time role based in Oxfordshire offers salary of£85,000 and benefits.

You will be responsible for:
