Job summary

Luna Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Manager (or an aspiring Deputy Manager ready to step into the role) to lead a high-quality children’s residential home in London. The role focuses on safeguarding, regulatory compliance, staff development and trauma-informed practice to deliver safe, nurturing care for young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and safeguarding oversight of the home.
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards and Ofsted expectations.
• Lead, supervise and develop the staff team through coaching and reflective practice.
• Oversee care planning, risk management, incident reporting and QA systems.
• Build trauma-informed relationships with children and promote stability and positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with local authorities, social workers, health professionals and external agencies.
• Maintain high-quality documentation, reporting and regulatory readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement and positive team culture.
