Job summary

Outreach Staffing Solutions Ltd in Tamworth is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home (6-16) with EBD, ensuring high-quality, safe, child-centred care. You will be responsible for leadership, compliance with Ofsted regulations, staff development, safeguarding, care planning, and continuous improvement to achieve Ofsted Good/Outstanding.

Qualifications

• 2 years previous supervisory experience in Children's Residential.
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and safeguarding.
• Experience supporting children with EBD.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage performance and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Ofsted registration as Registered Manager.
• Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the home.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, child-centred care.
• Lead, supervise and develop the residential care team.
• Promote therapeutic/trauma-informed care.
• Embed robust safeguarding practices.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and placement stability.
• Monitor quality assurance, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, budgets and resources.
• Engage with local authorities, social workers and families.
• Drive improvement toward Ofsted Good/Outstanding.
