Job summary

TDA Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children's home in Chipping, Preston area, Lancashire. You will manage day-to-day operations, develop staff, and ensure safeguarding and Ofsted standards are met to support children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

Ideal candidates have Ofsted registration/inspections experience and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, with a commitment to pursuing Level 5 Leadership and Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role within children's EBD residential care.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations and residential childcare standards.
• Willingness to complete Level 5 Leadership and Management or already hold it.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join a growing children's residential care provider and lead one of their children's homes in the Chipping, Preston area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential childcare professional who is passionate about creating safe, nurturing and supportive environments for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, lead and develop a strong staff team, maintain high standards of care and compliance, and work towards achieving positive outcomes for the children in your care.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with Ofsted registration and/or inspections, alongside a strong understanding of children's residential care.

• Ofsted bonus of up to 3,000 per year
• Sign-on bonus of up to 3,000 during the first 6 months
• First-year earning potential of up to 66,000
• Ongoing annual earning potential of up to 63,000
• Support towards achieving a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role within children's EBD residential care
• Previous leadership or management experience within a children's residential home
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations and residential childcare standards
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Willingness to complete, or already hold, a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
