Job summary

Resicare Alliance Ltd is seeking a Registered Manager for our adults residential service, taking full ownership of performance, quality and person-centred care.

You will lead and develop the team, ensuring compliance with CQC and safeguarding standards, while managing budgets and forming strong partnerships with families, commissioners and health professionals to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS check suitable for working with vulnerable adults.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in adult social care.
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff.
• Experience working within a regulated care environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
• Understanding of Mental Capacity Act/DoLS.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting adults’ welfare.
• Knowledge of person-centred care principles.

Registered Manager Adults

Are you a driven, experienced Registered Manager who is looking to take full ownership of a residential service? We're looking for a Registered Manager to lead the overall performance and quality of our service, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered at all times.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you'll create a positive, supportive environment where people feel valued, respected and empowered to live fulfilling, independent lives. You'll lead and develop your team, ensuring they feel confident and supported, and work in partnership with the Regional Manager to ensure the service meets all regulatory, operational and financial requirements.

This is a senior leadership role with real accountability covering staffing, quality, compliance and budgets and a genuine opportunity to shape the future of the service.

What You'll Be Doing as Registered Manager

• Providing clear, consistent leadership across the service
• Leading, supporting and developing the Deputy Manager and wider team

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Enhanced DBS check suitable for working with vulnerable adults
• Minimum 3 years' experience in adult social care
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff
• Experience working within a regulated care environment
• Genuine motivation to improve the lives of others
• Calm, reflective and resilient under pressure
• Strong leadership, mentoring and supervisory skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting adults' welfare
• Ability to manage competing priorities and support a high-performing team
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and fundamental standards
• Understanding of safeguarding adults and the Mental Capacity Act/DoLS
• Knowledge of person-centred care principles

Desirable:

• Additional leadership or specialist care qualifications
• Medication management training
• Previous experience as a Team Leader or Deputy Manager
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs or challenging behaviours
• Budgeting or operational management experience
• Confidence in leading change and improvement
• Understanding of CQC inspection frameworks and quality assurance processes
• Understanding of HR processes including recruitment, induction, disciplinary and grievance procedures
