Start Monday is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager for a four-bed Ofsted-registered children’s home in Chatham, Kent. You will lead the team and manage day-to-day operations to safeguard and support young people aged 12-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The role requires leadership experience, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership, and a strong track record in regulatory compliance and safeguarding. A full UK driving licence and on-call availability are preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent.
• At least five years' relevant experience in children's residential care.
• A minimum of two years' management experience within an Ofsted-registered children's home.
• A recent Ofsted inspection grading of Good or Outstanding.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, legislation and regulatory requirements.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Start Monday is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager for a four-bed Ofsted-registered children's home in Chatham, supporting young people aged 12-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is an opportunity for a confident, child-centred leader to manage the day-to-day running of the home, lead and develop the staff team, maintain high standards of care and safeguarding, and ensure full regulatory compliance.

You will need:

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent.
• At least five years' relevant experience in children's residential care.
